Youth Urban Games

The background.

In August 2018 Scotland’s most talented young athletes assembled for the nation’s first ever urban sports festival.  The inaugural event celebrated the talent and creativity of Scotland’s young people with an excess of 5,000 rolling in to attend the prestigious event.

Our mission.

Mascot recruited, trained and managed a core team of event staff for Scotland’s inaugural urban sports festival. We supplied 35 trained staff – a mix of brand ambassadors, supervisors, registration hosts, runners and security.

Our brand ambassadors and security staff engaged with event visitors and helped troubleshoot any issues or queries members of the public had. Our registration hosts signed attendees in, distributed passes and showcased the many events taking place during the festival.

Mascot delivered...

We sourced a team of 40 experienced event staff – a mix of brand ambassadors, supervisors, registration hosts, runners and security.  Our brand ambassadors and security staff engaged with event visitors and helped troubleshoot any issues or queries members of the public had. Our registration hosts signed attendees in, distributed passes and showcased the many events taking place during the festival.  A dedicated member of the Mascot HQ team was assigned an overseer role throughout the day to be the management level point of contact and to provide final reminder team training prior to the start of the working day.  We received 100% positive feedback from visitors and our team engaged with approximately 400 attendees throughout the day
